As romantic comedy premises go, this one is just fine, and predictably, the relationship between the two down and out protagonists grows with their own mutual understanding. The most interesting part of this movie to me is that Sam and Amber Jaeger, the leads, are real-life husband and wife, and this seemed to make a big difference to me. The knowing looks that they give each other and the affection that they display are just full of reality and feeling, and I really sensed something different from all other rom-com movies I have seen. The movie is not without flaws, but it is really interesting to see these two actors create characters from the real feelings that they have about each other as people.

I just failed to get connected with those characters in this movie, but felt estranged like watching tropical fish through a fish tank instead. This should be a sitcom to be watched as a TV show instead of a movie flick. People just can't mix a witless, pointless farce with a real comedy. If you deal with a struggling life with such naive and childish behaviors, there is no way you could be anything but a loser. I always hate this kind movie that trying to make everybody look like heavily on drugs.
The lyrics center around the request of a woman to be taken home by her lover. It was released as the lead single from the Take Me Home album in January 1979 through Casablanca Records, pressed as a 12-inch single. And this one, sadly speaking, is definitely a farce, a failed comedy with jerk-like male and female cartoon characters, over-the-top acting, lame scenario. Interprets young adult lives with such exaggerated behaviors is nothing any normal person would show or do except druggies.
